“Unplasticized polyvinyl chloride”, or uPVC for short, is a synthetic material which is welded (melted) together at the corners to provide a sealed, waterproof/windproof frame material. It can even be laminated with a wood applique to give the appearance of a wood frame (as pictured here). Consider uPVC for your next project.
